Dr Simons uses non-surgical, minimally invasive treatments to address musculoskeletal disease and injury. His emphasis is to use treatments which provoke tissue recovery. These treatments are mostly derived from extracts from patient-own tissue. During your initial 40 minute consultation Dr Simons will determine if his therapies are suitable for your condition, and thereby offer an optimal treatment plan to assist in your recovery. He integrates a range of therapies to treat your musculoskeletal condition.
The idea is to treat the underlying injury to relieve pain and improve function.
Dr Simons primary focus is on a range of therapies including platelet-rich fibrin, concentrated growth factors, conditioned serum and hospital based procedures to help the body heal itself. He also uses prolotherapy to initiate the body’s healing capabilities.
He is working in conjunction with the faculty of medical science and pharmacology at Curtin University to submit a clinical trial on a new therapy for muscular skeletal conditions.
